Chemical Health Services
Choices Program
Choices is a comprehensive education and intervention program for adolescents and adults with a substance use disorder who do not need formal treatment but are concerned about their chemical use. Groups are held each month and utilize a combination of classroom and take-home learning techniques.
Over the course of a month, participants will:
- Complete a self-assessment to determine chemical use
- Discover how stress, social anxiety, anger, etc. affect use of alcohol and other mood-altering substances
- Learn the effects that chemicals have on the different body systems
