Adult Rehabilitation Mental Health Services

The Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center ARMHS programs are educational services for adults with a severe mental illness that enhance psychiatric stability, improve personal and emotional adjustment and provide participants with independent living and community skills, including:

  • Transitioning to community living
  • Employment-related issues
  • Basic social and living skills
  • Household management
  • Medication education and monitoring
  • Mental health symptom management

The focus of these services is to provide participants with the skills necessary to provide meaningful structure in their lives. Zumbro Valley currently offers individual and group services in English, Somali, Vietnamese and Cambodian to instruct, assist and support participants' efforts to live independently.
